Dolly Babe – Hittin

Dolly Babe returns with “Hittin”, a fresh release that gives fans one more song to add to their playlists.

With Hittin, Dolly Babe aims straight for the dancefloor, the title signalling a record built to land hard and keep a room moving. The energy is set from the first bar.

Hittin works in an upbeat contemporary groove, where the beat and the hook do the heavy lifting under a confident vocal. The writing keeps things bold and focused on the moment, and the production leans on a punchy rhythm and a catchy top line, the kind of track made to fill a floor rather than to sit and reflect.

Dance-first records like this thrive in today’s African and crossover pop, built on energy and a hook that sticks. A song pitched squarely at hitting hard fits that lane.

The thing to catch is the drop into the hook, where the rhythm tightens and the track locks into its groove. That snap is what sells it on a dancefloor.

It suits a party or a night out with the volume up. Listeners who want music purely to move will find it does the job.
