LISA – Cobra

LISA returns with “Cobra”, a fresh release that gives fans one more song to add to their playlists.

With Cobra, LISA reaches for a sharp, dangerous image, the Thai artist framing the song around striking fast and standing untouchable. The title sets a predatory edge.

Cobra works in the fierce, rap-forward pop lane LISA favours as a soloist, built on a hard beat and a vocal pitched toward menace and control. The writing leans on power and self-possession, and the production keeps a tense, striking rhythm that matches the snake in the title, the kind of track made to command a stage.

LISA, known worldwide from BLACKPINK, has used her solo run to push a bolder, edgier sound than her group work. A song built around a cobra fits that harder, more assertive lane.

What catches the ear is the way she clips her rap syllables in the verse, the delivery as sharp as the image. That precision is the track’s bite.

It suits a confident, high-energy moment, the kind of record for feeling formidable. Those who follow her solo turn will recognise the edge.
