Rising Nigerian worship leader, psalmist, and gospel minister Rejoice Eweawa delivers a deeply intimate, spirit-drenched anthem of divine constancy in her moving worship single, “El Olam.” Officially released on March 28, 2024, as an independent live recording, the track stands as a profound entry in contemporary African worship, meticulously crafted to guide believers into an encounter with the eternal, unchangeable nature of God.

At its thematic core, “El Olam”—drawing its title from the sacred Hebrew name meaning The Everlasting God—centers on the absolute reliability, timelessness, and unchanging covenant of the Almighty. Through her rich, soul-stirring lead vocals and scripturally grounded lyricism, Rejoice Eweawa reminds the modern church that while seasons shift, human systems fail, and earthly circumstances fluctuate, God remains immovably faithful across generations. The record serves as an altar-building sanctuary piece, encouraging worshippers to anchor their trust in the God who exists outside time yet remains deeply attentive to human prayers.

Musically, the live production flourishes under delicate piano arrangements, ambient synth pads, swelling string textures, and a steady, unobtrusive percussive rhythm that organically builds alongside a resonant backing choir. Rejoice Eweawa’s heartfelt vocal delivery and spontaneous prayer exhortations create an uninterrupted atmosphere of consecration and reverence. Ultimately, “El Olam” stands as an enduring worship resource, empowering believers across the globe to rest securely in the everlasting arms of the Father.
