Tim Godfrey ft Fearless Community – Jesus is King [Album]

Jesus Is King stands as a powerful and vibrant testament to faith, capturing the high-octane energy and deep reverence that Tim Godfrey and the Fearless Community are known for. Released in June 2026 under Rox Nation, the 11-track live project crafts an immersive worship experience centered on exalting Christ and declaring His divine sovereignty. From extended spontaneous worship sessions to tightly arranged choir anthems, the album seamlessly blends intimacy and triumph across its hour and twenty-two-minute runtime.

Musically, the project balances rich, traditional West African gospel roots with modern corporate worship arrangements. Opening with the majestic ten-minute opener “Eze,” the album immediately sets a atmospheric tone of high praise before transitioning into soulful reflections like “Yahweh” and “Permanent”. The arrangements allow the Fearless Community’s vocal power to shine alongside dynamic instrumentation, utilizing soaring brass lines, energetic percussion, and subtle electronic textures to elevate each song’s emotional weight.

Collaborations add distinct flair to the record’s narrative flow. Guest appearances by IB Quake on “Father Father,” Nosa on “We Raise a Sound,” Emekasongsz on “Emi Ko Le She,” and LiYahweh on “Olore” bring diverse vocal textures and spoken word dynamics that enrich the collective worship experience. Ultimately, Jesus Is King reinforces Tim Godfrey’s position as a visionary in contemporary gospel music, delivering a body of work that is as musically refined as it is spiritually uplifting.
