Angèle – Je sais

Angèle returns with “Je sais”, a fresh release that gives fans one more song to add to their playlists.

Certainty anchors Angèle‘s Je sais, the French title meaning “I know”, a statement of knowing one’s own mind. The Belgian singer sets conviction at the centre.

Je sais works in the refined French pop lane Angèle favours, the arrangement kept spare so her vocal carries the weight. The writing turns on certainty, knowing what is true even when others doubt it, and the production stays measured and clear, letting the quiet confidence in the words come through.

Angèle rose as one of the sharper songwriters in French-language pop, known for turning personal truth into plain-spoken songs. A record built on knowing fits that candid, self-possessed lane.

What stands out is the way she repeats the title phrase with growing steadiness, each return a little surer than the last. That build is the song’s backbone.

It suits a moment of resolve, when you have settled something in your own mind. Listeners drawn to thoughtful French pop will find it holds up.
