Blxckie – vul’amehlo (open ur eyes)

South African rapper Blxckie includes with me on his upcoming album YENA, scheduled for October 30, 2026, under Somnyama Music Entertainment and EMPIRE. The track is the ninth entry on the 15-song project, positioned between “welcome to the function” and “lonely,” featuring Nigerian singer L.A.X.

The phrase with me can suggest companionship, closeness or a desire to have someone remain by your side. Depending on the situation, it might point to romance, friendship or simply wanting another person present during an important moment. That is an interpretation of the title, not a claim about the track’s actual lyrics. Its short wording leaves the meaning open to the listener’s own experiences.

Blxckie’s album brings together solo tracks and collaborations with artists including A-Reece, Bas, K1llbrady, L.A.X, KindlyNxsh and Usimamane. The project is credited to Somnyama Music Entertainment and EMPIRE, placing this track within his latest album release.

For listeners following Blxckie’s new material, this track offers another part of the album to discover. Its title may speak to anyone who values having a trusted person nearby, whether that means sharing everyday moments or facing a difficult situation together.
