Blxckie – Yena (Album)

South African rapper Blxckie is set to expand his catalogue with YENA, a 15-track album scheduled for release on October 30, 2026, through Somnyama Music Entertainment and EMPIRE. The project brings together solo recordings and collaborations with artists from different parts of the hip-hop scene.

The album title, YENA, is an isiZulu word that can mean “him” or “her”, depending on the context. Its meaning may invite listeners to consider who or what the project centres on, although the title alone does not confirm a specific concept for the album. For followers of Blxckie’s work, the tracklist provides a clearer look at the collection’s range of credited collaborators.

The album’s 15-song tracklist includes collaborations with A-Reece, American rapper Bas, Nigerian singer L.A.X, KindlyNxsh, K1llbrady and Usimamane. The songs range from titles such as “take me back” and “with me” to “die tomorrow,” which closes the project.

For listeners who have followed Blxckie’s releases over the years, YENA marks another full-length chapter in his career. The confirmed tracklist and guest appearances give fans a clear picture of the project’s contributors ahead of its scheduled release, while the album’s title keeps the focus on the artist and his roots.
