Blxckie Ft Bas – cover me

South African rapper Blxckie teams up with American rapper Bas on cover me, a track listed on Blxckie’s upcoming album YENA. The collaboration connects two artists from different hip-hop scenes, giving the album another international link.

The phrase cover me can suggest protection, loyalty or having someone stand by you when life becomes difficult. It could also point to the need for support from a trusted person, although the title alone does not confirm the song’s actual message. That simple expression leaves room for different interpretations, from friendship and trust to the comfort of knowing someone has your back.

The track is listed as the fifth song on YENA, which is scheduled to arrive on October 30, 2026, through Somnyama Music Entertainment and EMPIRE. Bas is an American rapper known for his work within hip-hop, making this a cross-border collaboration within Blxckie’s latest album project.

Listeners drawn to rap collaborations and the different perspectives artists bring to a shared project may want to pay attention to this entry on the tracklist. The title’s suggestion of protection and support gives it a relatable starting point, especially for anyone who values having dependable people around during challenging times.
