Fola – hold u down Ft. Darkoo

FOLA teams up with Darkoo on “hold u down,” the 13th track on his forthcoming sophomore album, 9. The song is part of the 14-track project scheduled for release on October 9, 2026, through Dangbana Republik and EMPIRE.

The collaboration brings together FOLA and Ghanaian-British artist Darkoo for another anticipated moment on the upcoming album, which features several notable names from across the African music scene.

“hold u down” arrives near the closing stretch of 9, following “my type” featuring BNXN and preceding the album’s outro, “it’s over” featuring Bella Shmurda and Zlatan. FOLA has described the project as a body of work shaped by genuine experiences, with every song and detail carrying meaning. Darkoo’s appearance adds another collaborative dimension to the album’s diverse tracklist.

Following his debut album, Catharsis, FOLA continues to build anticipation for 9 with “hold u down.” The Darkoo-assisted record gives listeners another preview of the singer’s evolving sound ahead of the full album release, while extending the momentum surrounding one of his most anticipated projects of 2026.
