FOLA – Miss u ii (nriri)

FOLA returns with “miss u ii (nriri),” a new Afrobeats record that explores longing, affection, and the emotional pull of missing someone special. Released on October 6, 2026, the song serves as the fifth track on his forthcoming 14-song sophomore album, 9. The release revisits the idea behind FOLA’s 2023 song “Miss You” while presenting a fresh perspective on the feeling of emotional attachment.

Produced by Sbthaproducer, “miss u ii (nriri)” places FOLA’s melodic vocals at the centre of a smooth contemporary Afrobeats arrangement. The song blends English and Yoruba expressions as FOLA sings about missing his lover and wanting to maintain their connection. Its recurring “nriri” refrain gives the record a memorable identity while complementing the intimate mood of the performance.

“miss u ii (nriri)” adds another emotional entry to FOLA’s growing catalogue ahead of the release of 9. Following his debut album Catharsis, the singer continues to showcase his ability to turn personal emotions into melodic Nigerian pop records. The new song offers fans another glimpse into the sound and themes surrounding his upcoming sophomore project.
